Kamara joins Marshall Faulk, Lenny Moore, Marcus Allen, Christian McCaffrey and Tiki Barber as only players to surpass 5,000 yards on the ground and through the air
While attempting to catch a somewhat errant pass down the left sideline, Kamara landed awkwardly and appeared to be shaken up. The current health concern isn't known, but he has been dealing with a back injury the last two weeks, so it may be an aggravation of that issue. Kendre Miller and CJ Donaldson are the Saints' current healthy and available running backs.
Reporter
Kamara has dealt with a back injury the past two weeks, and three limited listings during Week 6 prep led to a questionable designation for Sunday. On Sunday morning, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported that Kamara is expected to play, which now has been confirmed.
Reporter
For a second week in a row, Kamara's practice reps were impacted by a back issue, resulting in limited listings on all three Week 6 injury reports and a questionable designation for Sunday's matchup. His status will be clarified about 90 minutes before a 1 p. m. ET kickoff, but if he's active, Kamara will be part of a timeshare out of the Saints backfield with Kendre Miller and CJ Donaldson.
Injury / practice
Kamara was limited at practice all week, but he did get some work in each day from Wednesday through Friday and will have a chance to suit up for Week 6. If Kamara does suit up Sunday he figures to split the backfield work in some fashion with Kendre Miller and CJ Donaldson.
Injury / practice
With back-to-back capped sessions under his belt this week due to a lingering back injury, Kamara has one more chance to get back to full Friday, at which point the Saints may tag him with a designation ahead of Sunday's game at the Giants. Even if he's able to suit up this weekend, though, he's been in a tight timeshare with Kendre Miller and CJ Donaldson the last two games, turning his 17 touches into 64 yards from scrimmage and two rushing TDs.
Injury / practice
For a second straight week, Kamara is dealing with a back injury, but he was able to play through it this past Sunday against the Vikings, earning a 27 percent snap share and turning five touches into six yards from scrimmage. As for the rest of the backfield, Kendre Miller had a 31 percent offensive snap share and 10 touches, while CJ Donaldson paced the group with 42 percent and logged five touches.
