Brown missed the Eagles' last three games due to an ankle injury, but he avoided an injury designation for Week 6 after logging a full practice Friday. However, the veteran wide receiver will be a healthy scratch for Sunday's game as the Eagles go with six active wide receivers, with the position group led by a returning DeVonta Smith. Brown's next opportunity to play is Week 7 against the Cowboys on Monday, Oct. 26.
Injury / practice
Brown has been sidelined for each of the team's last three contests while nursing an ankle injury, but his limited session Wednesday is a step in the right direction. The wide receiver will have two more chances to log a full practice and officially move past the ankle issue prior to Sunday's matchup with the Panthers.
