All 15 of Charles' snaps during Thursday's 17-14 overtime loss to the Broncos came on special teams, and he logged one tackle while on kickoff coverage. He's eligible to be elevated from the practice squad twice more this season.
Injury / practice
Charles was activated from injured reserve early this week and will be appearing in his first game with the Seahawks. He likely won't see much action as a pass catcher, though he should be heavily involved on special teams.
Injury / practice
The Seahawks activated Charles from injured reserve after the wide receiver finished recovering from his knee injury. The 29-year-old was then promptly released to make room for Velus Jones, who will be signed before Thursday night's game against the Broncos. Charles is also set to sign with the Seahawks' practice squad as he returns to NFL form.
Reporter
Charles was acquired from the Jets during the offseason but hasn't played a snap for Seattle because of a knee injury. However, with his removal from the IR, he is expected to make his debut with the Seahawks on Thursday vs. Denver and anticipated to hold a prominent role on special teams. To make room for Charles, Velus Jones was released.
