Demercado was signed to the team's 53-man roster Tuesday, but he will ultimately take a seat in Week 6. In his absence, Javonte Williams and Tyler Goodson will handle the lion's share of the touches in the backfield.
Injury / practice
The Cowboys waived Demercado ahead of their Week 5 contest versus the Buccaneers, but he's now back with the club as it prepares for Week 6. As long as starter Javonte Williams and backup Tyler Goodson remain available, Demercado projects to be used only sparingly, if at all.
