After being limited Wednesday and then sitting out Thursday's practice, Spears now carries a questionable tag into the weekend. He returned to full participation Friday, which suggests he's on track to be active ahead of the 1:00 p. m. ET kickoff.
Injury / practice
Spears is trending in the wrong direction, as he was unable to practice in any capacity Thursday after being listed as limited Wednesday. Meanwhile, lead back Tony Pollard ramped back up to full participation Thursday after receiving a rest day Wednesday. Spears is coming off a nine-catch performance in the Week 5 loss to Houston, but he may not get a chance to capitalize on Sunday's matchup against a Colts defense that's allowing a league-high 52. 8 receiving yards per game to running backs.
Injury / practice
Spears previously appeared on Titans injury reports in Weeks 3 and 4 due to an ankle issue, but he's tending to a different lower-body concern heading into Sunday's matchup with the Colts. So long as he's able to upgrade to full participation by the end of the week, Spears should be ready to handle his usual complementary role behind starting running back Tony Pollard on Sunday.
