Hibner was held out of practice all week due to a hand injury that he sustained during the Ravens' Week 5 overtime win over the Falcons. Per Brian Wacker of The Baltimore Sun, Hibner is not considered to be a candidate for injured reserve, so the rookie tight end could be back in action as soon as Week 7 against the Bengals. In Hibner's absence, Josh Cuevas and Nick Vannett are both in line for more snaps on offense while operating behind TE1 Mark Andrews.
Injury / practice
Hibner injured his hand in Sunday's overtime win over Atlanta. While he managed to return to the contest, he has since missed the Ravens' last two practice sessions. Hibner will likely need to practice Friday if he hopes to avoid an injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against Cleveland. If he can't get on the field in Week 6, Josh Cuevas and Nick Vannett would presumably see more targets behind Mark Andrews.
Injury / practice
Hibner was able to play through the hand injury he suffered during Sunday's game at Atlanta, but it looks like it's still bothering him as the Ravens begin preparing for Week 6. He'll likely need to get back on the practice field Thursday or Friday to give himself a realistic chance to play Sunday at Cleveland.
