Cooper is still listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Patriots, but he's likely to be cleared to play given his activation from IR. The rookie fourth-rounder has missed the Jets' last four games due to an ankle injury, but he could be thrust into a prominent role offensively given the absence of Adonai Mitchell (finger).

Cooper earned the questionable tag for Week 6 after logging a full practice Friday, and it looks like the rookie first-rounder will be back on the field after spending the last four weeks on injured reserve due to an ankle injury he sustained against the Titans in Week 1. With Adonai Mitchell (finger) sidelined, Cooper could slide into the Jets' WR2 role behind Garrett Wilson for Sunday's contest.
Injury / practice
Cooper was a full practice participant Friday, upgrading from limited participation the previous two days. That doesn't necessarily mean he'll play, though the Jets definitely could use the help with Adonai Mitchell (finger) out for another week. They'll need to activate Cooper from injured reserve Friday or Saturday to have him available for Sunday's game against the Patriots at 1:00 p. m. ET.
Injury / practice
Jets rookie wide receiver Omar Cooper Jr. (ankle) will play against the Patriots, but running back Breece Hall and wideout Adonai Mitchell have been ruled out for Sunday's game.
