An illness afflicted Olave during the entirety of Week 6 prep, holding him to one limited practice Friday, but Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported Sunday morning that the wide receiver is expected to suit up. Indeed, that has come to pass, and Olave will continue to operate as the unquestioned top target for QB Tyler Shough, who currently ranks second in the NFL this season with 205 pass attempts.
Injury / practice
Olave was contained to just one limited session (Friday) during Week 6 prep as he dealt with an illness, but it won't stop him from being available Sunday. His status will be confirmed about 90 minutes before a 1 p. m. ET kickoff, but assuming he's active, he'll be looking to build upon the 39-537-1 line on 54 targets that he's accrued through the first five contests of the campaign.

An illness cost Olave the first two practices of the week, but he was able to take the field Friday and get some work in. He isn't in the clear for Sunday's matchup with the Giants just yet, but his participation alone Friday suggests it's more likely than not that he'll be available.
Injury / practice
With no practice so far this week for Olave due to an illness, he has just one more chance to mix into drills Friday, or else he'll be at risk of heading into the weekend with a designation for Sunday's game at the Giants. Through five contests this season, he has three 100-yard efforts to his name en route to cumulative 39-537-1 line on 54 targets.
Injury / practice
Olave is coming off a season-worst 4-46-0 line on six targets in this past Sunday's loss to the Vikings, but a stout defense and not a health concern was to blame. As Week 6 prep kicks off, his absence on a Wednesday with an illness isn't as worrisome as it would be if it occurred not long before game day, and he has two more chances to practice Thursday and Friday to prove his health ahead of Sunday's contest at the Giants.
