The receiver started a play in the third quarter from an entirely new position, but proved once again, he can do a little bit of everything, converting a third-down that helped change the game for the Panthers' offense.
Coker sat out Week 4 against the Lions due to a quadriceps injury that he sustained Week 3 at Cleveland, but after a Week 5 bye, he opened this week with an 'FP' listing, indicating he's put the issue behind him. Through parts of three games this season, he's displayed a strong rapport with QB Bryce Young, putting together an 18-222-2 line on 22 targets.
Injury / practice
After missing the Panthers' Week 4 win over Detroit due to the quad injury, Coker appears to be trending in the right direction coming out of a Week 5 bye. Head coach Dave Canales noted Monday that Coker is "on track" to play Sunday against the Eagles, and the wideout's involvement in Tuesday's session further supports Canales' optimism. Carolina will release its first Week 6 injury report Wednesday, when it will be known whether Coker is practicing in full or in a limited fashion.
