Coming out of the Browns' Week 5 loss to the Jets, head coach Todd Monken labeled Judkins as day-to-day due to a right ankle injury. Judkins was held out of practices Wednesday and Thursday before returning to the field Friday as a limited participant, prompting the Browns to list him questionable heading into the weekend. After going through a pregame workout Sunday, Judkins wasn't able to show enough progress with his ankle to suit up, so he'll wind up being sidelined for the first time this season. The Browns will have Jaleel McLaughlin and Audric Estime as their available running backs for Week 6.
Injury / practice
Judkins was seen wearing a walking boot on his right foot after the Browns' Week 5 loss at the Jets. Head coach Todd Monken told Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN. com on Monday that Judkins was considered "day-to-day" after tweaking his ankle in that contest, and the running back was contained to just one limited practice (Friday) during Week 6 prep, leaving him questionable for Sunday's matchup. Judkins' status will be clarified when the Browns release their inactive list 90 minutes before the 1 p. m. ET kickoff, but if he's inhibited or sidelined, Jaleel McLaughlin and Audric Estime will be Cleveland's available running backs.

Derek Barnett, Mason Graham and Carson Schwesinger also all listed as questionable for Week 6

Judkins was spotted wearing a walking boot on his right foot following this past Sunday's loss at the Jets, after which head coach Todd Monken called him "day-to-day," per Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN. com. After sitting out practice Wednesday and Thursday, Judkins was back on the practice field Friday, which seemingly is enough to give him a chance to play Sunday versus the Ravens. Because fellow RB Dylan Sampson (knee) won't return from IR this weekend, Jaleel McLaughlin and Audric Estime stand to benefit if Judkins is inhibited or out Sunday.
Injury / practice
Judkins missed practice Wednesday and Thursday after making an early exit from Cleveland's Week 6 loss. A return to practice Friday suggests he's still got a shot to play Sunday against Baltimore, though an injury designation seems likely when the Browns release their final report Friday afternoon.
Injury / practice
Judkins was listed as a non-participant Wednesday, and while his presence Thursday is encouraging, he may go down as a non-participant again unless he ramps up his activity level behind closed doors. The Browns placed Raheim Sanders (hip) on injured reserve Tuesday and opened Dylan Sampson's 21-day window to return from IR on Wednesday. If neither Judkins or Sampson are available Sunday against the Ravens, Jaleel McLaughlin and Audric Estime would split Cleveland's backfield duties in a rehash of the 2024 Broncos backfield.
Injury / practice
Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN. com noted that Judkins was spotted Wednesday walking around the locker room without a walking boot on his right foot, but the running back ultimately wasn't able to mix into any drills during the Browns' first Week 6 practice session. At least for the time being, Jaleel McLaughlin and Audric Estime are the healthy running backs on the Browns' active roster.
Injury / practice
Per Oyefusi, Judkins isn't expected to practice Wednesday, but the fact that he's ditched his walking boot represents a tangible sign of progress in his recovery from the ankle injury he sustained in Sunday's loss to the Jets. Earlier in the week, head coach Todd Monken described Judkins as day-to-day, which suggests that the Browns haven't ruled out the possibility of their top running back playing this Sunday versus the Ravens. His activity -- or lack thereof -- in practices Thursday and Friday will likely guide the Browns' decision regarding whether or not he'll suit up this weekend.
